Happy Hump Day! I seriously cannot get over how fast the days are going by this summer. I was online the other day scrolling through a clothing site and they had a special going that said "End of Summer Sale!" LIKE, WHAT?! It is peak of summer, what are you talking about?? I am refusing to believe that we are even close to being done with summer. I still have so much I want to do :)
Anyways, this past weekend my friend Annie and I went down to Hermiston, OR to visit another one of our best friends, MacKenzie! We all went to the Maroon 5 concert in Pendleton. A quick backstory for you all, so 4 years ago we all got tickets to see Maroon 5 here at the Gorge, but it got SO windy that they had to cancel the concert! We were all heartbroken! So when we saw they were coming back, it was a no-brainer that we had to make up for lost concert time.
Annie, MacKenzie and I were all roommates in college at Eastern. We have so many memories together and I love them as sisters! They both were bridesmaids in my wedding, and then Annie and I were bridesmaids in MacKenzie's wedding as well. It has been a reallllllllllly long time since the three of us have gotten together and done anything, because well, life happens and people move, get married, have jobs, have babies, etc., etc.! This weekend was well overdue and it was a blast seeing each other again and catching up on our new, exciting lives :) The concert itself was the best! Maroon 5 was extremely entertaining and HOT, of course ;) I didn't realize how many great songs they have until they started playing them. Whenever they performed one of their older songs, I kept thinking "Oh yeah! I love this song!"
By the way, this weekend I FINALLY bought the new Tartiest Creamy Matte Lip Paint in "tbt" and I am so in love. The color lasted way longer than I expected, and it really is so creamy and feels so good on your lips. You can get a glimpse of what it looks like in the pictures :) I am loving matte lips lately and this one is perfect.
My sweet, dear friends have been wanting to do guest appearances on my blog for the longest time, so here are their beautiful faces! (side note: when it came to taking the pictures, they almost didn't! I was like, guys! You have been wanting to be on a blog post, now pose, haha! They did fantastic, don't you think? )
