Valentine's Day has always been a favorite holiday of mine. I'm a hopeless romantic so this day just gives me a reason to be extra lovey dovey! I think the timing of it is perfect. With the holiday craziness of Christmas over and done with, we all could use a night to reconnect and cuddle up with our sweetie!
For me, I always want a new dress for Valentine's Day. Are a lot of you like that, or is it just me? (please say yes, lol!) We usually go out of town or to a local winery so it gives me an excuse to get all dressed up! However, here are only two issues about wanting a new dress for V-Day: 1) is the color, and 2) is paying for a dress you want for one day out of the year.
We all know Valentine's Day is all about the reds and the pinks! My closest mainly consists of neutrals, grays, and greens, so these two colors aren't quite in my fashion color wheel. I do like to wear reds and pinks on occasion but not all the time. Fortunately, burgundy's and wine colors are hot right now so that has made me happy!
Lastly, we all know that dresses can be expensive. If you are okay with spending $$$ on a dress you are only going to wear once, then by all means you go girl! For me, though, I like to try and find a dress that is both affordable and something that I could put to use more than once out of the year. Gotta make my need for a new dress justifiable ;)
That is why I have made this list of 10 gorgeous dresses, ALL under $50! Each of these I could find myself wearing throughout the year. They are trendy and versatile. I have yet to make a decision on which dress I am choosing, so looks like you will have to stay tuned! ;)
